The Family Bassin is a more relaxed tournament series held throughout the year.
This year, the Women’s Recreational Fishing League is fielding our own boat, “5050,” named after our mission to promote gender parity in fishing. Thanks to the support of Bluefin Aluminium Boats, Mercury Avator, MotorGuide, and Garmin, “5050” is fully electric-powered!.
So, what’s it like to be a sponsored angler? In this new initiative, one WRFL member gets to compete alongside our WRFL Skipper in each round. It’s your chance to gain valuable insight into the responsibilities and fun that come with the job, all in a supportive and enjoyable environment. You’ll fish in your personalised WRFL jersey, represent your League, and create content for our sponsors to fulfil our obligations… just like a pro-angler.
To secure your spot in this round, be first to claim the ticket and pay the $100 tournament fee. Participants are responsible for their own costs, including a share of fuel and accommodation (details to be discussed with the skipper).
