The Women’s Recreational Fishing League
is Australia’s only nationwide hybrid rec’ fishing community, providing online and on-water mentoring, mateship, skills and intel exchange, networking, plus personal and leadership development. We are ferociously passionate about helping more women discover the transformative nature of recreational fishing as a sport and are frequently referred to as the most inspirational and supportive community of recreational fishers in Australia.
Our vision is one of an Australian recreational fishing sector that boasts genuine equality
in all facets — from participation, through opportunities and careers, to leadership.
We have a stated mission of achieving gender participation parity by 2050.
This is expressed as 50/50×2050. We invite you to join us in our mission.

As a pledged WRFL Supporter, I promise to live and uphold the ethos of the Women’s Recreational Fishing League. I support the removal of any member who does not adhere to our pledge.

I will celebrate the achievements of my League, my fellow supporters, members and (of course) myself.
I will ensure that I share recreational fishing in an inspirational way to all people, both online and in person.

I will act as a guardian of the waterways and always work to improve fish stocks and habitats.
